Maarten: Internet
Bearz: Just found out. You can get White Ink Cartidges and you put them in place of the balck cartidge! Hwere you get them is another matter.
SoqedHozi: yeh I done an a-level in physics, but i am not goign to do a degree in it so i forgot it all
Maarten: yeah, with paint atleast. But I don't know how ink works
SoqedHozi: thats what i emant...but red ight is absorbed by the other colours...
Maarten: Red can't absord red light, it has to reflect it
SoqedHozi: or summin
SoqedHozi: the red will absorb red light, blue blue light and so on along all colours ofthe spectrum
SoqedHozi: it would be exactly the same
Maarten: I know white is full RGB, but with paint you end up with black since it blocks specific light instead of reflecting specific light. But I don't know how ink works
SoqedHozi: maybe, I'll see...
SoqedHozi: but only in theory, if you print that it would be a big black splodge tho right?
Bearz: Maartens right full red blue and green (RGB) is White
Maarten: Maybe printing all colours gives white?
Bearz: Coz your paper is the colour background. Your processor will use the colour cartridge to printhe text - it will be white text on the paper.
SoqedHozi: what? how would not printing a colour background make white print?
Bearz: When it prints, the colour cartridge will print the white text and your paper sheet will prvide the contrast!
Bearz: Use a word processor to type white text onto a colour background . then set the printer to not print background
SoqedHozi: hmmm reckon I can print in grey using a black cartridge?
SoqedHozi: a wantto use waterslide transfers to go onto a black surface, and I want the text on the transfer to be white...
