Adding an auction (modern)

This is a step wise explanation how to place an auction.

  • Lets take an item:
    Vampiric Storm Bow of Defense
Piercing Dmg: 15-28 (Requires 11 Marksmanship)
Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%)
    Armor +5
    Life stealing: 5
    Health regeneration -1
    Two-handed Longbow
  • Now as an example of how the form is filled out:

  • The form

  1. First you select the item's colour.
  2. Then you fill in the sort of the item. For bows, you can see this at the bottom of the item. Like: "Two-handed Longbow". Then you know it's a Longbow.
  3. The Quicklist will now show contain a list of items. If the item you wish to sell is in there, select it and press "Load".
  4. Here you can add a screenshot to your auction. This is optional. If you don't add a screenshot you can add one from the screenshot library after you clicked "Create auction".
  5. This is where you fill in the items statistics.
    • You start with the name. Type it on the topmost line.
    • Next, type all the effects. To change the colour of the current line to either white, grey or the item's colour, press Tab.
    • You can add more lines by pressing Enter or Return and you can remove them again with Backspace or Delete.
  6. This option determines how long the auction will run. After the auction closed, you can relist it if it didn't sell.
  7. This is the opening bid. Make sure you are willing to sell the item for this price.
  8. If someone bids the buyout, the bid is immediately accepted and the auction is sold.
  9. This is the amount of gold one Glob of Ectoplasm can replace.
  10. This is the amount of gold one Obsidian can replace.
  11. Here you can write a short message that will be shown with the auction. You can say why people should buy it, or anything else.
  12. Click this button when your done.
  13. These buttons allow you to store a backup of the entire form in a cookie. Keep in mind that you can only save one form in a cookie
  14. "Generate code" will store the form in a code which you can copy and save in a text file or anything else. Later, you can paste the code in the field again and press "Load information from code" to restore the form.
